When people ask me why I started M Square LLC, the short answer is this:
I like to hack.
I won’t sugarcoat it. I started a cybersecurity consulting company because I wanted to spend every day working on what I love—hacking systems, testing boundaries, and figuring out how things break.
They say you get rich doing what you love. Well, hacking on computers and systems is what I love to do.
Growing up, my curiosity was both a blessing and a curse. I constantly found myself repurposing things, pushing them beyond what they were made for. Back then, that got me in trouble. Later, I realized that mindset—the drive to explore, to experiment, to make things do what they weren’t supposed to do—is exactly what it takes to be a hacker. Whether it’s breaking into a network or tricking an app into giving up a file it shouldn’t, that’s the core of ethical hacking.
I’ve been in cybersecurity and IT for over a decade now. I’ve seen firsthand how vulnerable even the most well-meaning organizations can be—not because they don’t care, but because they don’t know where to start, who to trust, or how to afford quality protection.
Modern systems—whether it’s a point-of-sale terminal or your everyday smartphone—are complex. Too complex for most users to manage all the moving parts needed to stay secure. Business owners and employees are focused on doing their jobs, not learning the ins and outs of security architecture or attack surfaces. And that’s completely fair. It’s not their job.
But it is mine.
After years of working in the trenches—navigating bloated corporate processes, watching red tape slow down response times, and seeing clients overpay for cookie-cutter reports with no real context—I hit a breaking point.
I realized something simple but powerful:
> There has to be a better way to bring practical, no-BS security to the people who actually need it.
That’s why I started M Square LLC. To help real businesses stay safe with honest advice, clear guidance, and tailored solutions. No fluff. No scare tactics. Just smart, effective cybersecurity from someone who actually gives a damn.
🎯 The Vision: Security That Actually Helps
M Square LLC isn’t about flashy dashboards or buzzwords. It’s about:
-
Helping small and mid-sized businesses get enterprise-grade security
-
Explaining the technical in plain English
-
Focusing on people, not just tech
-
Giving honest guidance, even if it means saying “you don’t need this yet”
My goal was to build something lean, adaptable, and rooted in trust. Something where clients wouldn’t be just another invoice, but a partner.
🧠What I Bring to the Table
I’m a security consultant with:
-
10+ years in IT and cybersecurity
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networks & Cybersecurity
-
Computer Networking certification
-
An OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) — earned, not bought
-
Real-world experience in red teaming, pentesting, compliance, and incident response
I’m not a salesperson. I’m not a VC-funded startup. I’m a practitioner who built this company for businesses that are tired of the fear-mongering, jargon, and upselling.
